Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the use of Canva-based interactive animated video media in the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model to improve the quality of Pancasila Education learning in elementary schools. The background of this study is the low interest in learning and active participation of students in understanding the material on Pancasila values in depth, as well as the limited innovation of learning media that can integrate visual, audio, and interactivity elements. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects of the study were fifth grade students of State Elementary Schools consisting of two classes, namely the experimental class that used Canva-based interactive animated video media with a PBL approach, and the control class that used conventional methods. The results showed that there was a significant increase in students' understanding of concepts, learning engagement, and positive attitudes towards Pancasila values in the experimental class compared to the control class. Canva-based interactive animated videos have been shown to be able to present learning content in an interesting and contextual way so as to support students' critical thinking skills which are the focus of the PBL model. In addition, this approach also increases interaction between students and teachers and encourages students to solve real problems that are relevant to everyday life. Thus, the use of interactive animated video media in the PBL model is recommended as a strategic innovation in Pancasila Education learning in elementary schools to shape students' character and understanding more effectively and enjoyably.
